The Imperial District on Trantor is the largest district on the planet. It is also the only district on the planet that has no dome over it. The only place that has its own open air. The most notable structure within the Imperial District is of course the Imperial Palace itself. It also contains a vast garden system and the Imperial Library which is at the edge of the district.
